Food and Market Stalls

A fabulous feasts are available including: Thai, Spanish, Indonesian, Greek, Mediterranean, Moroccan, Indian, Dutch, French and Italian Cuisine. Whether your favourite cuisine is paella, gozleme, gelato, tandori rolls, ice-cream or pancakes, you will find it at the festival.

There is a licensed bar at the event where you can enjoy a cold beer or a refreshing glass of whine while you watch the samba dancers groove to the tunes.

It's not just the food that will tempt you to wander through the market stalls lining our streets.

Kid´s Corner

There are lots of activities available for kids - so bring the whole family!

  • a kids' corner with a jumping castle sponsored by Belle Property
  • a craft activity tent where kids can decorate a cupcake, get their face painted by Grace Point Church staff or buy a cool airbrush tattoo.
  • lots of yummy things to eat

Other Stuff

You will also find a psychic where you can have your fortune read, your photo taken at our special cut-out stand, enter a travel competition to win a trip to New Zealand, throw a football around with some of the Wallabies players, high five our 'King and Queen of Green', see some of our emerging young artists perform live or enter the Hamburger Eating Competition.

Walk of Fame

The climax of the street festival occurs when the mayor introduces the new inductee(s) to the walk of fame into the footpath outside the Ritz Cinema

Getting There

From 5am road closures apply to St Pauls Street and Perouse Road. Bus re-directions will also apply.

We recommend using public transport to get to and from the festival.
You can find out which bus to take, here.

A free valet bike service is provided for the duration of your event - so get on your bike, and help save our planet and ride to and from the festival.

 

Closing Ceremony

At the close of the Festival, the Mayor will induct our two new 'Walk of Fame' stars in to the footpath outside The Ritz Cinema. We are very excited to announce that the three new walk of fame stars are:

  • Gary Sweet
